Sweetclover is a biennial (two year) plant from Eurasia. There are white and yellow flower varieties. The plants can grow up to five feet tall. It can be poisonous to livestock when it has turned moldy. Dicourmarol is created during the heating and spoiling process. Dicourmarol is an anticoagulant which causes the animals to bleed out internally. For more information on plants, go to www.weldweeds.org.
